data research

I attempted to find data based on grocery stores in defined neighborhoods compared to the population density of these neighborhoods. I also looked to see whether or not these small suburbs had some kind of restaurant population as well as if they had pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens - in-store pharmacies didn't count) as other places to obtain some potentially healthy nutrition

The Argentine - 3.973 square miles; pop. 10,331; 1 grocery store within the defined area; 4 restaurants; 0 pharmacies
Roeland Park - 1.62 square miles; pop. 6,816; 2 grocery stores within the defined area; 8 restaurants; 2 pharmacies
Overland Park - 56.7 square miles; pop. 178,919; 12 major grocery stores within the defined area; 362 restaurants; 7 pharmacies
Mission - 2.53 square miles; pop. 9,467; 2 grocery stores within the defined area; 36 restaurants; 1 pharmacy
Turner - 5.339 square miles; pop. 11,154; 0 grocery stores within the defined area; 7 restaurants; 1 pharmacy
Rosedale - 1.918 square miles; pop. 8,437; 1 grocery; 16 restaurants; 1 pharmacy
